Since the big races are over and winter is upon us..we maintain fitness by a little less time on the water, more weights and cardio. Still hammering 3 times a week, but in between we have added more running and heavy weights. Now is the time to gain strength. Weights 3 times/week..paddle 3-4 times/week and run or swim 3-4 times/week. Thinking about adding Molokai to our race calender next year……that training would start in January..long runs..Cabrillo to Newport and Long Beach to Newport..in the cold winter months when the wind blows..Eva and Sean, you in?
